Good capture of a sad moment in history. Nice sharpness and exposure. I like the red and white tape going across the center of the photo. It adds a sense of warning. Thanks for posting.

Great journalism photo. Our major News Channels have not been carrying the news about the French demonstrations very much on TV. But, the News pages I follow on Facebook have covered it and with video. Your photo showing the complete destruction of this building is terrible. So, much damage done in so many parts of your country. We here in the US are sitting on a tinderbox too. Our Congress and left leaning media are bringing us to the brink of a Civil War because of their constant attacks on our duly elected President. President Trump has millions of supporters who are fed up with the disclosure of an attempted coup d'etat by the Democrat Party and the previous administration.

OMG! What a wanton destruction of tax payers' money! The insurance companies may go bankrupt soon if these kinds of war like situation continues! You have shown the sad scene well, like the other two I viewed. Good effort.

Such a shame. Was this done by a terrorist or an arsonist? If so, I hope they caught whoever it was. This is nicely framed. I like that you got what looks to be the front doors to a building. I see the tape is still up so it must be a dangerous place to be. Acts like this are just disgusting!

Great shot!! As usual I apprecieate your reporting. I think photo has great impact being closer to subject. Good color and focus. The red and white tape (I know it's compulsory) add both color interest and the fact that this is serious police work.

Oh no. This is horrible. Very very sad state of affairs. They have left this building a burnt shell of its prior state. It appears to have been a hotel? What a drain on society.

These are definitely sad times, and these photos really tell a story of these times. Sad as they may be, the story needs to be told! Thank you so much for sharing!

I guess a whole lot of people feel strongly about the issues. Or maybe they just love mayhem. In either event this fine shot shows the outcome very well.

    most people are disgusted;
    in the US, there would be dozens of deads, when policemen are attacked

Another shot of the idiotic destruction that is happening with the demonstration. This picture clearly show how much and pervasive the damage is. The caution/do-not-enter tape across the frame also makes an interesting statement because it is like a "No - more" ban symbol. This is a well done shot with good detail.

So sad, just tragic, non sensical. Your close up photo shows the detail only too well of this in-humane behaviour.

What else can I say? thank you for alerting us to this tragedy.
