This is lovely work Cleo. Your brushstrokes are so attractive and create nice details. The bird looks very realistic with the right shades of colors and well applied highlights and shading. I think the textures in the background are very attractive too.

I intended to review this one when you had it promoted, but just got too busy. But I didn't forget about it! This is really, really beautiful work and the thumbnail looks like a photo. Only by zooming in can we see your tiny 'brush' strokes. Amazing!

Cleo, this is great!!! I think it's perfect, including the composition and proportions of the woodpecker. The combination of the colors are brilliant! A lot of texture! Nice light and shadows! Red cap is like rasberry on the cake!! :-) A realistic looking digital art! Bravo, bravisimo! ! !

This really is a beautiful piece of art. The details that are rendered on the feathers of the bird are fantastic, the colors on the head are eye catching. The contrast works really well making the bird pop. Thanks for sharing.

A very nice painting that shows nice detail in the bird. The image is well proportioned and bird looks quite similar to the local Red Bellies. Very nice technique and beautiful colors.
