Hi Fred, this is a magical scene you have captured here, I like your angle of shot showing the way the land meets the sea, the single home sitting at the edge overlooking the water, it looks like they have a pathway right to the beach, such beautiful green surroundings with trees behind their home, I see a white fence around their property. Their views must be amazing, plus it is so peaceful and quiet . This is well photographed with good focus, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones show beautifully through the mist. This is well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!

Very nice photo. Good depth of field. Nice composition--I like the building down in the cove. I like the pastel coloring making it soft and dreamy.

The house with the walkway leading to it is definitely a point of interest in the photo. Therefore its good composition to have it positioned to the left of the frame. The use of the dried shrubs in the foreground draws the viewer's attention into the frame and that's also good. Excellent view and thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful, ethereal landscape. It seems to resonate peace and quiet. The foggy mist is quite dreamy and besides the stretch of the shore, I like the house off to the left. Very nice photograph with wonderful balance.

What a beautiful contest entry, the colors are wonderful,I like how the sea color fades off into the hazy sky.The entire image is well composed with great exposure. The house is fantastic, must be nice to have a section of the beach that's all their own.Wish you all the best with this well presented image!

what a gorgeous place to view. The view looks so serene who wouldn't want to live in that house. You captured this with remarkable skill. I wish I had a six for this, because it really deserves nothing less.

Absolutely! I just now viewed the other posting you have made with the original painting of Monet as the inset! This is lovely landscape photography! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Fred,
A very peaceful & beautiful view overlooking the house with it's private beach along the Normandy coast with mist rising off the sea beyond the white cliff. The view across the Chanel on a clear day must be amazing. Beautiful composition, framing & Lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Just beautiful. Yes, I sure can imagine and even remember the view. It looks like many coves in California and Oregon. Definitely a place where you want to retreat to higher ground before high tide. I almost lost my camera which was on a tripod during a sudden high tide . It swept up my small dog. He was pushed against the rocky cliff side. I was right there to grab him, but could see the utter fright in his eyes. Needless to say, he never wanted to play near the tides anymore. This shot looks much like Oregon's Devil's Punch bowl. The water in your photo is a lovely teal green that is so pretty. A very good shot showcasing your technical skills.
