This is a very cute photo. The dolls are placed well in the photo and also create a little depth by placing them well. I find the textures in the background look odd against the blur of the rest of the background. Also, the bottom eyelashe of the doll in the foreground is not in place. These are the only areas I would change in this delightful photo.

I appreciate your critique, but I believe it would be disrespectful to the artist who created the porcelain figurines, Sister Hummel. I did not change the eyelashes of the boy or any of the original paint.

Sorry, I did not mean to disrespect Sister Hummel. I wouldn't change the eyelashes of the boy or the original paint on either of these porcelain figurines. However, I would change the background a bit. Sorry if I displeased you, but doing a review is a very subjective experience and one review does not tell you anything. The more reviews you get, the more information you have and then you can then decide whether to make changes or not. Have a good day!

Don't worry. You did not displease me. I just needed to make clear that I did not change any of the original paint.
I am sorry you be displeased by my background, but everyone even artists, icluding my self, have subjective intentions how to present their works.

This is a Still Life. The story it tells is that the sister is working householdscores while her brothe intertains her with his music. :o)

Sister M I Hummel was an artist and member of the family with Geobles, that created many of the designs for these figurines she died at only age 37 I think just after ww11. May be it's her signing. The figures are very collectable so I believe. You have two here very typical of the children figures,
and made a very nice image of them in a still life set up. The focus is good and they stand out well with the back ground you have created, which with those colours compliments the figurine colours also. Good luck in the comp.
