nice capture. the angle of the shot of this bird chowing on the branch is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Love the focus and lighting on the parakeet. Well, it certainly is green! ;-) The focus is very clear and the color is well managed. I like the diagonal of your subject. I would like to see the background more blurred so your little guy stands out more. But hey, it's a very nice photo.

Nice focus and detail in the bird. Even though there is common color in the background the bird still stands out. The eye and the beak are immediately seen. I find some of the branches distracting, maybe they could be cloned out, but it would not be easy. Nice colors. Good luck in the contest.
