I lovely capture of this spruce grouse hen, never seen one before, pin sharp focus and clarity, great eye capture, I like the position of the bird in the frame which stands out clear and well defined from the yellow foliage in the back ground. Nice image.

This is a nice close-up of Spruce Grouse Hen. Excellent composition and depth of field! Great details and colors! The head of the bird is in the classic position! Nice blurred yellowish background gives a positive impact! I also like the pattern of the feathers. Nicely done, Pam!

Here is another bird I have never seen or heard of. The only bird we have here that looks like this is the Bobwhite Quale. I think you just shoot anything that catches your eye. Me too! Don't you just love nature and being able to see how beautiful it is!

I have not seen this bird before or known of its existence. Especial the profile of the head is interesting. The body reminds me of doves, but the head looks more like of a smaller bird. The coloring and marks seem unique also. The colors of the shallow background emphasize the dark bird well. The hen is well placed into the frame. The photo is balanced.
