yes, the nutria or coypu (myocastor coypus) is originating from South America but has been introduced in all continents because of his fur;
a wonderful close up with outstanding sharp details;

My 1st thought.."gimme some sugar baby!"..lol..I can see this and that written on a poster..cool capture. The angle of the shot of this handsome mug is great. The capture of the light is great. The clarity is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

A very nice shot with fine detail in the fur. Originally from South America, I have seen them as far north as Lake Eerie. A very nice tight composition with great colors. Best of luck in the contest.

This is a super close look at the coypu, very similar to a beaver, well focused, nice clear image, good detail in his fur , whiskers and I can even see his eyelashes! Well exposed, the color and tones appear natural. Nice close up composition , well presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!

Superb close up portrait! Your excellent sharpness and great light give us a great look at the Coypu's face and the texture of the fur. This is also very interesting to me because I have never before seen a Coypu.
