Great capture, Steve, showing the three Pelicans flying over the sea with the sun disappearing over the horizon. Love the colours in this, from purple to gold and orange with the dark sea contrasting well. Lovely composition. Suzanne

This has some beautiful color Steve. I guess I wouldn't expect anything less in your work! I like how deep the color tones are in the sky. I also like how you framed the sun the with the arc of the pelican silhouettes.

Nice timing indeed! The last light of the day has its own fascination, but those three birds resemble a nice curve over the low sun, which is emphasizing the event. Occurrences like this always draw the eyes of viewers. The silvery reflection in the waves also emphasizes the happenings above. The photo has exquisite beatific colors and is excellently balanced and framed.

This is how I see this one, love the moment I wish I had been there, love the moods of the last embers of light those three pelicans is fabulous the sort of thing that I would look out for, even with them flying the moods on this looks still and very serene!
