My goodness, they are very beautiful and unusual chickens. Your focus is very nice so we can see the gorgeous features draping down the rooster's back. The colors are amazing, but now that it's getting quite sunny you need to watch for blown out colors. A neutral density filter is very helpful.

I know that chicken are beautiful. Most of them have exquisite colors and markings at their plumage. You show both excellently. I like that you portrait a male and a female together and how the light falls on both birds and illuminates their backs and heads, so that the red seems to glow. The colors are realistic. The photo has good depth and is framed and balanced well.

They are beautiful! I have a friend who draws birds (mostly chickens) and from her I learned that there are many varieties that are as beautiful as any other bird. Great shot and notes!
