Beautiful complimentary colors for sure, that bright yellow and deep purple are gorgeous together here in this fringed tulip with the yellow petals and purple in the center, this is very well photographed with spot on focus, the image is clear, exposure is perfect, the colors show true, nice angle of placement in the frame, dark background showcases this lovely tulip beautifully! Thanks again for the fine review. I taught a class recently on color theory, I was surprised how few knew how to use it in photography.

What a lovely picture, and yes, it does fill the bill nicely. It is a beautiful flower, and it is so clearly in focus. Not only do I like the contrast between the yellow and the purple, but the dark background makes a nice contrast with the bright yellow of the petals. All in all, a great shot!
