Its a lovely winters scene isn't it it also very calming and tranquil looking a part form the slight motion in the water its lifeless but thats its charm lovely snow on the ground this gives the contrasts the black tree trunks gives the depth and really the wter is a little redundant not needed but thats just my take on this not a critique! good luck with the contest!

The hoarfrost on the trees and the thin skating of ice over the meandering waterway as well as the snow covered ground and roof top makes for a very frigid scene. This is a superb entry for this contest and I think a definite contender at the voting booth.

yeah and you can keep that wherever that is at...all folks who like snow stay up north..wink wink..lol..the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this frigid terrain is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to northern viewer. good eye and great job overall

This landscape is fascinating even in the cold of winter. The snow covered landscape is serene and enchanting. Light and colors are realistic for the time of the year. The landscape is well focused and has goods depth. The composition is balanced and framed nicely.
