Very cool photo turned into a
drawing with a painterly like look. I like the perspective with your Son and brother walking ahead of you with a light and view from the other side of the tunnel.
I think the border clipped your sons foot a tad, so I may have not used one or used a pencil thin one.
Love the textures of the stone.
well done master ~ J!!!

yes unfortunately the foot is partially missing, the border is added after. hopefully not spoiling the shot. actually proved so popular on far.

No it doesn't spoil it...just mentioned it.
All your work shows well ;)

Vincent,
A beautiful & interesting view framed by the brick archway over what looks like a storm drain, dry except during excess rainfall. Beautiful composition with father & son walking through the archway framing the image and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Think Vincent you should try to do more of these type of photos, although this is more like a painting as such.
I know you show us a lot of military stuff etc which is not everyones cup of tea,but here I just love this,i like the relation between the adult and the child slightly behind, was that on purpose, because for me it shows thinking outside the box in order to get a shot, well good one, more please...Brian

Very nice effect, almost like a painting. The lighting and shading is perfect. The opening of the tunnel looks as though it opens onto a watercolor painting. The pastel colors and shading both make me think of the proverbial light at the end of a tunnel, but simply of stepping out of man's heavy world into nature. Very nice, thanks for sharing! I like the painterly effect of this image. The stones are superb and I love the shadows created in the folds of the mans blue jacket. The soft blur of the distant tree lined path is lovely.

Way cool image here MJ. I really like how you captured the man and boy heading into the tunnel. The posture of the man is so natural.

The POV is just right to lead the eye to and through the tunnel. Great after photo work MJ ~ Steve

thank you very much indeed. yes i always have my shooter ready to capture a nice image.

This is an interesting composition. It could be a single photo, with the appliance of several filters. It also could be a collage of two or maybe three photos. I like the texture of the tunnel and the bright colors and realistic looking cloth of the man and the boy. There seems another child at tunnel exit. The view into the landscape at the end of the tunnel is also interesting.

oh yes i see that. it is in fact just a plant of some type. the mixed media has defined it into something else.

Indeed this is something else. :o)

I really love what you did here. The bricks seem to be a little dark. Your mixed media is fresh and clear. I love your colours, they have a good blend.
And I love was looms after the tunnel.
