Linda, I searched through your portfolio to find the original, and I must say that I find it perfect as-is. However, the new colorized version does add something special to it. I like them both, and I don't think I can say one is better than the other. I have two grown daughters, and though I love the intelligent and lovely women they have become, I sometimes miss the days when they were young like this. Your drawings often remind me of that. ("The Bow" is still my favorite!). Awesome work, as always!

Dearest David. To date, I have lost both of my daughters. Jamie died in 2002 at the age of 24. Alyssa died 8 weeks ago at the age of 31. Losing my girls has been crushing. God is faithful. He has held me close. I haven't drawn anything since Alyssa died. I am beginning to believe that the Lord has something He wants me to do. Thank you for your wonderful review.

Oh Linda, I am so sad to hear of your double loss. I can't even begin to imagine the depth of your sorrow. I will remember you in my prayers, and ask God to comfort you, as I know He is the only one who can.

well 1st reaction is gotta be the Pencil Wizard..however, if it isnt consider that guess a huge compliment for you. she is this sites top pencil artist. the facial expression is excellent. the body form and language is excellent. the details is excellent. the depth is excellent. the shading is superb. the touch of blend of color is awesome. the creation is well balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. very creative and awesome work overall(standing clapping and cheering) wooooooooooooohoooooooooooooo!!!!!!
