This is great, love the modern twist on the subject, really interesting! Using two separate methods to achieve the work is outwith my understanding, but it looks amazing! Good luck in the contest I suspect you'll do well!

And yes, you made the difference. It all came down to one major orange theme, spreading across the whole work.
For a modern art, this is awesome and a rare representation of the traditional carrot we know.
You blended in the mixed media and traditional art, so well that I don't seem to recognize where they start or end.
It's a beautiful workflow and I think you'll earn your stripes with this. Kudos for a job well done Keep it up.

This is so pretty, I can see this hanging on a kitchen wall or in a restaurant , three carrots placed on the diagonal with their green tops still on, very well created, beautiful colors well applied, I like the green , orange and white background, I like the way you show the lighting . Well arranged and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!

The effects have given this image an interesting appearance full of radiant light. I like how the shadow of the carrots gives the piece depth and the diagonal placement is attractive.
