This is a glorious capture of a Mexico sunset, Steve, which regardless of the filters, looks very real to me. Since I am periodically experiencing some bizarre messaging and email problems, I am also noting here that I never received from you the email that you said you were sending, did you send it? I messaged you from my site too -- not sure you got those... Daphne Oberon

I replied to your great email. I just wanted to mention that the rosary the Mexican lady gave me was "stolen"/appropriated years later by my horse-trucking husband. I was furious but never saw it again. I was especially upset because it was the poor Mexican lady's own personal rosy. I did not want to take it from her, but she insisted, saying I was in more danger than she was and it was all she had to give me to help protect me from these dangerous, hypocritical Baptist Sunday school teachers, who once they knew that I knew what they were about, wanted me dead.... Just another thought, thinking about the rosary and other seemingly catholic related life experiences, I have often felt like there was some connection there for me with the catholic faith; the Knights of St John of Malta, Hospitlars and Templars were certainly Catholic, and it has been variations of their symbol that I have seen phenomenally to an unbelievable extent beyond the one in the window (which lasted about 3 months) starting in 1964 to present -- sometimes really enormous in space and always very, very clear and geometrically exact.... Enjoy -- .... Daphne Oberon

If I followed your advice then there would be no review, lol!! Completely kidding. I have to use words to try and describe the beauty of this image. Once again you have shown that you are the master of light. The rays from the sun shining over the landscape and onto the water is perfect! I like the light in the clouds too and the colors have an attractive richness. The tree in the foreground has great leaves and there's an appealing shine around those too.

WOW! You made my day Grace. I am so glad you liked it. This is another one of those scenes that are Created by God and I am just the guy who pushes the button. The scene in after photo kind of creates itself.
I do thank you so much Grace for your artistic review and Fabulous rating. I hope all is well ~ Steve

Very pretty image you present here, Steve. The colors are so lovely. The shine from the sun about to set is really beautiful. The palm in the corner foreground really adds a lovely component to the image. Very nice work, Steve.

Nostalgic capture with that fantabulous dramatic illumination!
A poignant feel...
Melancholic initial impact.
A diagonal visually balanced composition.
Soft silhouettes...
Good perspective & long depth of field...
I should have waited for tomorrow's 6* release...
A virtual bonus rating!
Thanks for sharing...

Thanks Dickson. A six is not nearly as important as your detailed and artistic review. Just knowing that you consider the image worth commenting on is all that is needed.
Thank you again my friend ~ Steve

A beautiful scene. I like the silhouetted palm tree and the beautiful light in the clouds. The light beam above the mountains seems too good to be true. Great colors and a very moody image.

Steve, You're absolutely right! All you need to do is gaze at this and you'll be rewarded! Love the color of the sunset and the way the beam of sunlight coms thru the mountains. It is breathtaking. Though you're not looking for a name, I would call this "Skylight"! Very pretty Steve and worthy of a six in my eyes! :o) Nancy
