This is a nice water color/ pencil piece of your Husband and sweet dog. Diggin' your husband's choice of hat ;)
I like that they are both unaware of you as they take a break from the car ride.
Nice soft colors and details.
Crop is a tad tight at bottom.

Thanks for a super review. Loved your comments. The hat is a seamans cap from that area NE Germany usually worn by captains or skippers. My hubby was a tall ship's skipper and sailed 25 years off and on between his other pursuits. My often sad fail is I drawn and sketch then run out of paper hence the tight result at the bottom lol.

cool creation. the body form and language of both human and dog is great. the details is good. the shading is good. the blend of the colors is great. the depth is good. the creation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. one mention though..you might want to crop out that slight excess at bottom right..it was almost a perfect presentation but you will be aware for next post..wink..overall good job

A great review thank you. But a bit puzzled 're the crop suggestion as it is a bit tight there as I often fail by Sunni g out of paper. I had one reviewer pointing this out as being a bit neat. 🤔
