Very good, clearly focused shot. I have fun with photos like this of dandelion puffs and my many filters. They make good subjects with some cool results!

I would like to see some of those creations!

Isn't it great how beauty can manifest itself in a simple dandelion? It seems very unlikely to see one with most of it's seeds still intact lol. I am glad you were able to get a good shot of it! Really a nice photograph.

Thank you! The reason this one caught my eye was because it looked so perfectly intact :)

like the simple back ground and colour ,
the macro focus is very good . every little star seen clearly . the fact that you have left it simple is what appeals to me .lovely work

Wow, what a great close up! You captured it at the height of its most perfect circular opening. Best of all the details are exquisite and shows off your excellent camera skills. Wonderfully done!

Excellent close up, Grace, of this pretty Dandelion fairy, as we used to call them. Amazing that all its seeds are still intact. Very good lighting and focus showing great detail. Lovely composition. Suzanne

The most photographed flower with visually soothing features...
Sharply focused fine features & smooth textures.
Verdant bg pops out cottony image nicely.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.
Thanks for sharing...

A rare find indeed! I miss seeing these, they're not prevalent in FL, as they were in MD where I was raised.
I like the way you've got the puff just left of center, adding to the visual appeal. Focus is excellent, enhanced by the darkish green, blurred, background. For being outside, I especially like that there is no glaring sun disturbing this image, the lighting is perfect for the subject.
Wondering how long until the seeds floated off into the distance, possibly with someone's wish attached....?

Thank you! I couldn't get myself to wish on such a perfect specimen, I left it for the wind. My wishes in the wind along with the seeds :)
