I like cats. And this cat looks friend enough with ball of sting. The colors work nicely as complement of each other. Allowing the black cat to stand out as the main student. Very nice, thanks

When creating this piece I paid close attention to details such as the bed spread, the ball of yarn and the wallpaper. You are correct. The colors I chose to render these objects helped the cat stand out. Thank you so much for your review.

Cute cat and title. ;)
It's a sweet gift for your friend.
I like the pose, the eyes and the amazing details on the blanket and soft shadows created for the yarn ball and cat.
Nice work ;)

Wow! This is really good. That blanket is what caught my eye.. all the folds and wrinkles of the cat is fantastic. He kind of looks annoyed at being disturbed here lol,,,what a great creation

Wow. This is Really good. I am no artist at all. This is well done. Using colored pencils to get an image such as this is very hard work for sure.
The bold stripes in the background place a nice emphasis on the blacks of the cat. The eyes are what really draws the viewer into the scene.
Very nicely done ~ iPhone7

As a wildlife photographer I appreciate any work that clearly shows the intensity in both eyes of an animal. That is what really makes your art work stand out. Overall, the details and clarity of your work are excellent throughout this piece, but the eyes are what really captured me.

Artistc rendition.
EyeCATching portrait.
Harmonious colors.
Meticulous attention to details...
Only this would look better in a horizontal format with the tail tip included and less of those leading lines above as it grab attention from the feline subject.
Is that a natural tilt?
Thanks!

Try imagining the overall impact with less of the headboard and more of the blanket & tail tip...

Cool!
Salem is a very attractive feline and your colored pencil drawing of her ( or is it a 'him' ? ) looks Great!
It's pleasantly colorful and very enjoyable to look AT!
'Good Show'!

Nicely done. Love your use of colors and you have a nice technique. What size is this - it look very big? Looks like Salem is giving you the "stare down". Thanks for sharing.
