You did such a great job getting a sharp shot of this guy under the water. The colors and the patterns stand out well and his fins even show nicely. The colors are well exposed and look very good.

Well, some blind contests don't serve its purpose for some photogs/painter with a signature style...;-)

The water is remarkably clear which makes it appear that the fish is suspended in air. A very good composition with great colors against a fine background.

Nice! Beautiful colors and patterns. I like the the false eyes on her tail. The way you showed the water in the background is very beautiful. I like the different colors. It's hard to tell that it's water but we know it has to be because the fish is behaving

Thanks so much for taking the time to review. Yes it is the ugly brown brackish water of our canal. The only time I can see the fish is when the sun is directly overhead and when they come close to the shoreline, which thankfully they do quite regularly.

This is just an excellent capture of a free living fish - what a patience to get this fish into a perfect position - I love the bird view perspective as it shows his beautiful color and design as well as his yellow eyes - super composition,even through the water the picture has perfect sharpness - contrast and lighting are excellent too.. Yes, if you ever come down to this part of Fl! Glad you enjoyed it. I did oversaturate deliberately to really make him shine.
