The execution of the shading is extremely competent and it meaningfully captures a terrestrial animal in his/her environment. As an animal lover, I cannot scroll past a lovely image with such a theme and not provide well-deserved praise. This definitely receives a six star rating from me!

I am so fascinated by the technique of pointillism and you certainly have mastered it. The details in the facial expression of the racoon are striking, his little whiskers and paws perfect. The bark on the tree is well done too. Great work.

Very nice work. You've done a great job with both the raccoon and the tree bark. The sparkle of light in the eyes and on the nose give this little fella a pleasing pursonality. It's a shame you can charge by the dot for one like this...LOL

i feel that the trunk of the tree takes over the photo, i wonder if there was more of the coon included in this, or less of the trunk, how it would look?
my eyes wandered first to the trunk and hardly looked at the coon.
no disrespect intended as i feel it still is nicely done.
