A great capture of Jasper the Eastern box turtle. I like that you were able to capture the rare emotions of this gorgeous creature. Well I love his name as I named my sweet boy Chihuahua that. My boy also holds his paw like your Turtle. He always has his Left paw tucked in, when resting.
This is a sharp clear capture of your Box Turtle with fine eye clarity. I like his alert red eyes.

The exposure is perfect, The focus is spot-on the turtle. The details and textures of its body and shell are sharp and well refined. The yellow and brown markings and the red eyes are impressive. The colors look realistic. The background is unobtrusive. The photo is well compost and framed.
