I just checked, and it appears that my IQ has gone up 7 points since I started reviewing your photos and reading your notes. haha! ;)
Seriously though, I do like unusual clouds and this is a good one. Very nice shot, and great notes! (and yes, I do know that knowledge does not equal IQ)

The cloud formation is as impressive as the are ominous and threatening. Strangely a bulging cloud at left looks like the head of a sheep. The dark tree silhouettes below emphasize the clouds efficiently, especially the tall tree at right with the lighted cloud above it. The photo is well composed and accordingly framed.

I have a love / Loathe view of storm clouds. The photographer in me is a storm chaser in awe of them, the living in Florida part of me knows storm clouds mean Tornadoes/Hurricanes.
It's a Ying and Yang thing.
These huge puff monster size clouds are incredible.
I see a lions head with mouth open slightly on the left.
I like your PIV including the trees and your fine White balance control.
Nice work Greenie!

Thank you Sange! I understand the storm chasing awe and the reality of the ominous destruction they can cause in the form of tornadoes. We don't have to worry about hurricanes here but we do have a tornado season.

But do you see the lion? Yes?

I do see him :)

I love clouds!these are spectacular! My first thought was cotton candy! These look like a mixture of pink, blue and white cotton candy, very well photographed with good focus, the image is clear, the pink , blue and white tones in these clouds appear natural, the trees across lower frame give perspective to this scene! Well composed and presented!
