A gorgeous capture of the Cicada resting on a side of a building. Your central composition is engaging. Very well photographed in good lighting, sharp focus, and outstanding details and clarity in your image. Good artists notes and I like the storytelling with your image. Their loud humming tells of winter's coming. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

2019 was a Banner Year for Cicadas of all species here in northern New York state and they're still going strong with their load mating cries now with Summer rapidly coming to a close!
Your great looking picture of this interesting specimen is lots of fun to see,my friend! : D

A real beauty of a bug. I like this very sharp shot that shows the detail in his body as well as the wings. His coloration is quite beautiful. This one should do well in the contest. Best of luck.
