Great photo of this crocodile,excellent focus showing the sharpness of his teeth,as well as the texture of the skin and definition of the ridges running along his back. Great natural colors and perfect lighting,well composed and presented!

Great close up portrait of this crocodile! Those teeth sure look sharp and he does look like he's smiling. Excellent sharpness, light, color, and clarity in this photo.

He almost looks like he is made of stone. I like how his eye is slightly open and watching. The shape of the mouth posed like a smile is very deceiving! The color of the water looks great.

Great Capture Fred!
I like the Crock like grin and squinting eye.
Fine sharp focus showing a clear view of those sharp teeth.
Great head shot if this amazing reptile in the wild.
I see Gators daily and now here they have learned to climb 8 foot fences. The wetlands fencing is not even 6 feet high..so now I have to keep an eye out for them crossing the section that is level to the ground areas. I also go to two wetlands that have no barriers, but know their behaviors and can tell when to walk the other way or just pass by at a respectable distance.
Great moment to witness and capture.
;)

    thanks a lot Sandra for your nice comments;
    as you certainly know, in comparison to the African crocs, the gators are almost harmless..
    I hope you'll like my birds too...

A very deceptive peaceful image of a dangerous animal. Glad you know when you can approach this guy. Very sharp focus and natural coloring . I would be a little shaky trying to take this shot. Initial impact is terrific.

The Crocodile portrait is well composed. The animal is in good focus. Textures and details are refined. The teeth look dangerous. I appreciate the realism of color and light. The photo is well framed. The composition is balanced. I never saw a crocodile smiling before, but this one indeed smiles. Probably it smiles in anticipation of a nice meal when he is warmed up. He probably hopes that you stay in that boat till then.

A nice tight headshot. The croc is shown in excellent detail. I like that peeking eye and the smiling look of his mouth. A beautiful presentation with great colors.

I had to chuckle at the look on the croc's face. The sneaky smile along with the half closed eye sent me a message that you were invited back later in the day for a midday snack - - the snacking possibly being you.
Nice close up, glad it still was cool.

That evil looking smile give him away. The squinting eye just wanting you to get a little closer. Nice angle of shot. Good focus on the details. Environmental background sets the stage. Good color. Well seen.
