This reminds me of my mother and her fishing jaunts to the beach before during a hurricane watch. She loved to fish for red snapper and yellowtail when the seas were this choppy. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Very realistic photo of what committed fishermen will do. Your choice to covert to B & W was an excellent one as it makes the conditions even more realistic. It also sends a message that the wind is blowing, the clouds are rolling in and the conditions are less than favorable. Reminded me of my young, and perhaps, foolish days when we would go out day and night to catch the "big one". Fortunately, when I got older, I got more selective about the conditions required before going out. Now I have moved on to photography where I find myself in these weather conditions some days.
