A nice attempt considering its your first attempt at drawing fur.May I suggest that fur is usually a lot more wishy washy rather than the perfect shape that you have sketched this in..unless of course the racoon has been recently professionally groomed. Your choice of colours in your palette are excellent particularly in the bark and thats why I have maintained the high score of 5

I love this. It has good I.pact and gives me a nice feeling to look at it. The layered watercours have worked well. The wood detail is beautiful. The cheeky face .. great. Your fur also suits the guy. It's quite rigid but I feel it suits the painting. There are any ways to do fur

Look at references and draw what you see not what you think you see, the other arm is missing not because it wasn't there but because it looked strange in the dark. Some pieces or parts of a painting don't make Sense till they are complete.

A good entry into the Wildlife Art Contest and I remember voting for this one! Beautiful brush strokes and blending and shading of colors. I see them at the wetlands at the sunset hour when they come out to the parking lot to garbage pick. They are too funny as they lift the bin and take out fast food bags and walk away on two hind legs. I like the sweet face of this one peeking out of the log he is hanging out in.
Nice details and textures on the log as well as on the raccoon.
