I like this out of the Box photo Brian, and I think it is a fine entry into this contest. I especially like Your perspective and the Close up approach. This has resulted in fine lines and shapes and also great leading lines.

The photo is also Nice and Sharp showing Clear and well defined details, and also the fine textures of the Wood. The exposure is spot on.

The tight cropping is working well and it is a very good Balance in the composition. A great looking and well taken photo With a very good DOF, and I wish you Luck With the contest.

I like the rust stains dripping down from the rusted bolts. The design looks like a modern art abstract of man made sand dunes. The bright sunlight creates nice shadows and shows off the silvery sheen of the weathered wood.

I like this remains of a wooden pier on the sand , it's a beautiful blue sky with nice cloud detail , well focused, nice clear image with good exposure, good detail is shown in the wooden structure, this shows the contrast between natural and man made.
