Annie,
A beautiful picture of this deep pink Cone Flower the cone lit from behind so the light shining through the orange coloured stamens makes the appear to glow in the light with a halo above it. The flower the cone & the petals glowing out from their dark background.

Strong visual impact: the cone flower is gorgeous, you have chosen a wonderful angle of shot, it looks as if the light is radiating from the beautiful cone flower center.
This is well focused , the image is clear, lighting is managed perfectly.

I think the glow behind the center of this flower is creative and attractive. You captured very nice detail of the flower and the glow accentuates the details nicely. The light is flattering and shows off the colors nicely.
