This is an exquisite close up. I like those little pistils laying on the petal. The sharpness of the flowers is impressive. The photo has good exposure. The colors are realistic. The close framing is perfect. The composition is balanced.

A beautiful perspective taken of this vivid red poppy. I have never seen the centre of a poppy and this is wonderfully displayed here in a macro version. Beautifully lit by the light, clear and focused ...an excellent capture and a pleasure to view!

I think the angle is interesting and really shows off the center well without taking too much attention away from the pretty shape of the petals. The colors are very nice and the overall clarity is attractively sharp.

I like the watermelon red look of this poppy and the white rind like center. The cupped upper petal stand guard over the seed holding basin created by the furled under petals. I love the way the seed pod creates the look of a crown.
