I like naturally candid shots where the subjects are captured outdoors doing something...
Innocence personified oblivious of what happening outside her small world...

Overhead illumination.
Reaction would have been altered had you stooped at eye level.....
Verdant surrounding is visually refreshing...
Cropping that distracting wall would improve the image...
Good perspective & long depth of field...

A very beautiful picture of this handsome little lad sitting in among the flowering grasses as the seed heads dance about in the breeze. The sunlight on his hair highlights it's shine & the soft blues of his suit. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
