I think the lighting in this image is very attractive and flattering to the colors of the flowers. I admire how sharp you are able to get the edges of the petals to appear along with the softness of your background. The details of the flowers stand out nicely and fill the frame in an artistic and appealing manner.

What a beautiful scene you have created here Annie. It has your name written all over it.
The lighting is perfect highlighting the petals and at the same time giving us the added bonus of those delicate shadows.
The background is just right to accent the two flowers.

This is beautiful Av. The background is wonderful and allows the right amount of contrast for the magenta colored petals to stand out. I enjoyed reading your description, it's crazy how many flowers are out there! The use of color and light has been well presented as the highlights and dark areas have been well shown. The initial impact is wonderful as the viewers eye is directed towards the petals. Good work here Av :)

Very nice closeup of these flowers. It is simple, direct, focused and beautiful. I like how the background displays the directionality of the light source enhancing the light and shadow reflected on the flower pedals. The green leaves separating the focal subject matter from the distant feel of the background is also a nice touch. Overall, just a pretty picture to look at. Reasons for my five star vote.
