Congratulations Daphne! I am happy that you were published and your cover artwork is lovely. The position of the horse and the detail of the males look great. I like the bird in flight too! Thank you so much! I would actually be a traditional artist except for injuries to my right hand. Vector art simply became a tool to bring my more traditional art back to life. Obvious vector art is not traditionally used that way I use it....I am glad you like it!

A very beautiful book cover and adequate for the topic
the blue heaven in this design with the mountain to go up looks like the horses would walk even up to the sky - the white hair are like the clouds making the horse look light - awesome use of space , excellent color choice - the golden Writings fits perfectly - every single detail is well thought through and well worked out -
excellent presentation and very attractive as a book cover - I would grab it just by curiosity

A very beautiful book cover and adequate for the topic

OMG what a wonderful offer - I will look at them - I had 5 horses by myself - Itrained them alone and I became a champion all alone loll - the called me horse whisperer as when anyone had a problem with his horse they called me to see what was wrong and I only was 16 years old when that started - I can feel what they feel and see what they need often very simple tings loll - thank you so much again

really an awesome work indeed daphne and you have created a visual and dynamic cover, for a book of truly the highest quality. the cover art has come together so very nicely and the focal black horse is really outstanding; as is the animal to the right and the additional bird +(delightful) snake. these little creatures always add so much to the story and help us to imagine the nature, in a desert type landscape. i'm so pleased to see it in a completed state and i'm sure it we be a great success. well i'm hoping you gain a lot more support and surely some new fans in prospect.

Thanks so much busy Mr Jones! I am certain that your energy has helped me launch this project which for years seemed beset by the entire contents of Pandora's Box, many in the form of hackers while I was trying to compose it. Even a notorious network under investigation by the CIA that closed down power plants in the US state of Colorado. What they wanted with my project I have no idea, but you never know, perhaps there is a black market copy written in Chinese, LOL! In the end I actually printed it under the first title more to get it somewhere safe on a self publisher's server than for any other reason. This was very seriously considered by respected Harper Collins publishers and also Harcourt Brace. The chief editor of Harcout Brace gave me her home phone number as we periodically discussed it, but then the very successful publishing company went under -- lol! So keep pouring on the good luck, now for the sequel... hugs, Daphne

Thank you very much. This project has gone on for me for many years. I wrote it longhand to begin with, then suffered from memory loss for two years due to being rear over on by a horse and receiving a severe concussion. I returned to working with horses but in a severe memory fog other than some automatic recall of speech and handling horses, but I did not mesh with my past identity. I managed the actor's John and Bo Derek's horses at the time and never let on. When a few years later I became interested in my own writing again, the handwritten manuscript for what is now My Grandfather's Horses was dropped off the edge of a sailboat into the ocean by someone else. I dove in and rescued it but the ink had begun to run. So although I could make some of it out, I learned computer skills and rewrote it! Enjoy! Daphne -- Oh not much likelihood your writer friend, Tom Lynch might be persuaded to write a review of my book on Amazon wherever. That would be very cool! You too or anyone else...

The bird in flight , I see a second black horse on the other side , the sun rising up over the cliff, the branch reaching in , from left frame, I also see the snake. I like very much the color and style of the Tile and other text, the blue sky background was a perfect choice! This is beautifully created and presented! Congratulations to you!
