Another gorgeous shot of the water and the sky with beautiful light. You are the master of light :) I like the boats and the motion of the water very much. The background has a canvas like texture that I think is attractive too.

Very nice. The ocean also looks like a painting. I bet you took the picture with the boats centered to give an interest point for this picture simply because with all that sky and wave action about you that you felt a need for an anchor. This is really a beautiful photograph. Reasons for my five star vote.

Thank you Carl for your very insightful review and commentary. Yes I did purposely use the boats for a focal point. I waited for the wave to give the scene some foreground drama and then used the boats to point toward the horizon and sky. Actually there were more boats so I erased a couple to leave those five in a 'V' shape. I thought that would add something for the eye to focus on besides just a lot of open water. I had not thought about the idea of an 'anchor' yet you are spot on. I am artistically challenged and I appreciate you pointing that out. I learned a new term and concept. Thank you Carl ~ Steve

A beautiful atmospheric sunset picture over the ocean the flame colours along the horizon radiating up into the heavens above marking the edges of the clouds glow. This beauty in the sky is reflected on the glistening sea with silhouetted boats floating on the surface and the wet sands in the foreground. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

The Real Problem is that the ice melts in my Rum and Coke rather fast on the beach so I am forced to drink them quickly order another. Such a sacrifice and hardship. But I will tough it out. a beautiful balance in composition. But there is a deep contrast, subtle but is there. I like the way it takes on the Surreal dreamlike quality. It has a ethereal feeling. What I like about this is that there are elements that don't seem to fit. The waves coming in seem to be too harsh for the waters seem calmer. The turbulence impending Darkness almost ready to cover up the entire Sunset sky. Then you have the elements of these boats that seem to be lost or going in different directions. I think the angler composition is very strong against the horizon line. There is a Harmony to this in color, very good job thank you for sharing.
