What an interesting looking bird! The dark bill strikes me as unusual. I really like his color patterns and especially the iridescent to his darker feathers. His eye is a nice color too with good light captured.

A nice looking stork. The detail in the black is great but the white is a bit overexposed, I like this square cropping and the penetrating gaze in his eye.

I really like these storks and have seen them in my zoo here in Miami as well.
There seems to be a bit of blow out in the white of his back and the background is something that distracts just a bit. But hey, I've done that myself. Sometimes just not easy to fix.
But the bird itself is a real eye opener. Nice sharp focus on his head and eye.
Thanks for sharing Mary.

wow, what an impressive stork, never seen before; I like the contrast between the white area and the grey tail feathers on one side and the black head on the other side;

I did not know that this bird exists; I have not seen it in photos either. Thank you for educating us. I appreciate your comments. The stork is impressive, especial its coloring. The photo is focused and has good exposure. Details of its body and plumage and of the cage are refined. The square framing is adequate.

A pretty good nature shot posted here! Your fine, full and central composition offers us an enjoyable view of your amazing bird. Reckon it has the longest beak I have ever seen! Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely taken!

I like that exotic name!
I wonder what is the language of the primitive people there as they had very unique names for their flora & fauna!
This one is truly a rara avis!
Never seen such species before.....
Subtle lighting...
Diffused focusing.
Compact framing.
The wilted plant grab a bit of attention...but that's not under your control...;-)
Thanks for sharing...
