This is really beautiful Linda and tells a fabulous story. All of the details and use of light give the piece great depth which in turn gives a nice initial impact. The shading has been done really well as well. Overall a very nice piece of art indeed ð???

I think you must have captured the character of Ruth in an excellent way. She looks like such a lovely old woman, and I especially like the pose With her smelling the rose.
I also like very much the way you have used the light, and Your always so good attention to even the smallest details.
The format and the tight framing is Perfect, and Ruthie has got a very good placement on the paper. A truly lovely and well done portrait Linda.

HI Linda, When I first saw this in the small size I could have mistaken it for a BW photograph. You did a lovely job with the detail and the shading. I'm sure the person who commissioned this was incredibly pleased with the results. Outstanding Job! Definitely worth six stars!!! :o) Nancy

She is well created with realistic shape and structure , well shown hair, skin texture , arm and hand , I like the wristwatch and bracelet she wears , well shown fabric of her blouse, I am positive this will be treasured forever!
