Absolutly beautiful. You know, one of the functions of photography is to bring back memories, for example wedding pictures. This one brings back a memory of once seeing a scene like this one that caused the memory of the cold crisp clean air as well as feeling like a little speck in the landscape and loving it. Thanks.

Love it! I like the snow on the mountain tops, the incomplete cloud cover going through the mountain tops, giving it an ethereal effect, and the choice of exposure. I also appreciate the effort to get to the location so early to get the effect.

a great entry to the light contest; a beautiful mountain scene from a remote area that I visited more than 40 years ago; I like how the Earl morning sunrays go through the mist in front of the snow capped Himalayan mountains; is it the Matchapuchare in the background?

I like the composition. The diffuse early morning light beneath the snow covered mountain is interesting, especial the barely seen smaller mountain. The colors of the sky and the dark mountain in the foreground emphasize the Mountains at the center profoundly. The photo is excellent exposed and focused. I appreciate the realism of color and light. The photo is well framed. The composition is balanced.
