HI Annie, Not only did you capture a super beautiful shot of this Egret, but the water as well. Both have beautiful clarity! Love how the tail feathers are a little windblown, it adds a nice touch to the already beautiful shot! SOooo deserving of six stars! :o) Nancy

The Little Egret is Similar to our Snowy Egrets. This one looks like it's in full mating plumage.
You did a fine job on the whites in the bright sun.
Nice eye clarity and fab white balance control.

This is indeed a great entry into this contest, and you have pictured one of my favorite birds so well. Especially the eye and feathers are well captured, and With the slightly dark background, the white bird is standing out in an excellent way.
The photo is pin Sharp showing such Clear and well defined details in the feathers, and the exposure and white Balance is Perfect.
The format you have cropped the photo into is very good, and the bird has got a fine placement off to the left. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo With an excellent DOF, and I wish you Luck With the contest.
