A very good looking nature drawing posted here! Your fine and full composition offers us a good look at your big penguin. Is that it's egg in front of it? Must have taken you quite some time for you to create this nice image?! Well done!

    nikman,

thank you for your review of my pen drawing, I am pleased to hear you like the composition and the techniques used to create the drawing. Stippling is one of my favorite techniques, there is something about it and the outcome that is stylized, and gives really great results.

again thank you for your support of my artwork and me is appreciated.

Have good day, & stay safe.
    Cheers.

This Penguin seems to have some unusual features. The beak appears shorter than other species have. The feathers above the eyes look soft. Those feathers draw the attention of the viewer to the eyes. The light reflection in them are intriguing. I am impressed by your attention to detail. Proportions and perspective are exact. The excellent refined fore- and background show that the bird crunches in a small space. The drawing is well composed and framed.

She seems proud of her new egg. The shading and shadows are used to give a personality and a sense of pride. The entire scene comes to life vis your vision and pencil. Love the scene that is full of life and promise.

Isn't he just adorable. Wow, one dot at a time. How long did it take you to complete this? Your technique in portraying shadows works very well, the viewer definitely gets the feeling of dimension and depth. The penguin's facial expression is just precious. It's quite a beautiful composition overall.

    ABG photography,

this type of drawing takes days and days of looking and then actually doing the drawing, depends on the details and how I want to capture them, this one probably 60 hours total time.

Thank you for the review, it is very much appreciated.

What an awesome piece. How long does this actually take you to create ?
The penguin has good form and an interesting pose with the shape of it's wings. The facial features come thru very well, especially with the hairs, little eyes and the smile. Texture is well developed and comes thru as a rocky terrain. Details on the ground with the little pieces of rock and stone nicely accentuated. The toes are smartly exposed. Thanks for sharing this with us.
