This is a wonderful landscape and nature image of two horses. The green surroundings are a lovely contrast to the two horses which are beautifully lit up by the sunlight. You have captured clear poses of both of them and the detail is well seen all over. A pleasure to view Annie.

You caught a beautiful couple of horses. Apparently they are hold for breeding rather then work. The look well cared for and seem to enjoy their freedom. The photo was well focused. The mixed media effects are carefully and invisibly applied. Light and color appear realistic. That one of the horses shows its profile and the other its front is intriguing The horses are excellently placed into the left of the frame. The mixed media is perfectly balanced.

What a beautiful portrait of these wonderful horses. The way the sun bounces off their flanks is stunning. I like the way you have framed the subject matter in the left most third of the composition and I really like the way you shot them, from the side instead of in front, face to face. It leaves the viewer wondering what they are looking at, since they are not looking at the photographer. Too bad about the foal not showing. This shot is perfect even without it.

A beautiful & peaceful picture of this pair of grazing Welsh Ponies the sunshine catching the glow on the coat of the Palamino Pony & the face of the Roan beside it the meadow herbs & surrounding trees creating a beautiful & contrasting backdrop. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. In my head I can hear the Blackbirds calling in the trees.

A beautiful & peaceful picture of this pair of grazing Welsh Ponies the sunshine catching the glow on the coat of the Palamino Pony & the face of the Roan beside it the meadow herbs & surrounding trees creating a beautiful & contrasting backdrop. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. In my head I can hear the Blackbirds calling in the trees.

I like the title of the photo, and it makes this have story like effect. Seeing these two horses together like that makes them more anthropomorphic, as two friends just grazing in the field. I like how animals can have a sense of camradery, and we can see that here. Excellent choice of photographing them in this context too, out in the open field where the main focus is just the horses, and the background takes a distant second role.
