What nice color photo. Your lighting separates each of the flowers petals, so each one stands on its own. You sure caught the gist of the theme with those small insects crawling on the petal.Real nice

Gorgeous flower image. The colors are soft and really stand out against the black background. The details are sharp and crisp. Personally I am not a bug lover so maybe I would have removed the little critters but some people really like the extra added feature. Bugs are sharp too. Really pretty image!

lovely! those various shades of pink made a nice contrast against the dark background. I like the placement in the frame, that's not in the center. Great focus and correct setting for exposure, showing clarity of details and natural colors.

I love the soft pink tones in the petals of this water lily, your angle of shot allows a good look at the structure of this lovely flower and how the petals lay back away from the golden center. This is well focused, the image is sharp and clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural. Black background allows a clear undistracted view, the tiny insects add further interest . Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

I don't know what it is about water lilies, but they always seem to attract a lot of flies. This one is captured at the peak of its bloom. The colors are really beautiful. Best of luck in the contest.

A beautiful picture of this pink Lily glowing out from it's dark background The insects look similar to Black Fly/Aphids. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

no idea what they are, but certainly not aphids, much smaller;
there are many "exotic" insects in Thailand..

I lije this. It looks a perfect bloom. You have captured its delicacy. Good framing and a clear shot ... those little insects do add interest. Look like midges perhaps.
