like your sense of humor, the photo of the painted turtle is well done, good colors and use of thirds, I think the rabbit should not be similar to the coyote and always lose, rabbit power

A beautiful & amusing image of the Eastern Painted Turtle "racing over the grass," while the rabbit relaxes believing he is certain to win when ever he starts to run. Beautiful,- imaginative composition framing and lightning taken with superb camera & editing techniques and sharp focus.

Not sure that I have come across the story in my dim and distant past! Your nice nature image, posted here, makes me wonder if it has anything to do with the size of the two animals? Well done!

This is an old Aesop fable I think. "The Grasshopper and the Ant is another one. Each Story comes with a message. The Tortoise and the Hare is about a way to confident rabbit (normal in size) who thinks a race between him and a tortoise is ridiculous to comprehend. There is no way a slowpoke like the turtle could ever beat him in a race. He lets the race begin without him even being present at the starting line. AS far as he's concerned he has plenty of time. NO need to hurry at all! Why he can even take a nap if he wants too. The turtle is so slow that even if the turtle is 3/4 thru the race he could easily beat him to the Finnish line. The trouble is.... he lets a little to much time slip by and the turtle wins by a landslide. The moral would be something like... perseverance is what gets you to your goal, not being lazy and foolish. Glad you liked the image. Thanks for the review! :o) Nancy

This is a great scene to tell this famous and meaningful story! Your photos of the turtle and the bunny are both excellent. I love the thought bubble of the turtle that you added to the scene. Very well done!

This reminds me of the fairy tale of the Hare and the Hedgehog. I like how you made the thoughts of the turtle visible in a blurb. The photo of the turtle is well focused and accordingly enhanced. The colors are realistic and details are refined. The collage is nicely composed and framed.

Again you present a very cute image that shows your creativity, the tortoise and the hare is such a great and timeless story, I like the way this turtle is making her way to the finish line as the bunny rests in the grass thinking it will win no matter how much of a head start the turtle has! Well arranged to tell your story and I like the way you show it as if the turtle is thinking it! Well presented! Yes, it made me smile!

Knowing you think I have a creative touch Pat means a lot to me! I thought this would be missing something, if one couldn't visualize the turtle thinking of the lazy bunny. I'm glad you enjoyed and it gave you a smile! You just gave me one! :o) Nancy

Cool,Nancy!
I can understand your interest in the 'Tortoise and the Hare' fable since that's been popular since 'time out of mind' but what I really like are Turtles ( ALL Reptiles and Amphibians actually! ) and your photographic capture of this female specimen looks Great in my opinion! : )
'Good Show',my friend!
