Beautiful Brenda. I love the sunset in the background it provides a nice backdrop for the lovely bridge in the foreground. The bridge has been drawn nicely and provides interest to the viewer. This is some good work Brenda, good luck!

when ever I have travelled through or to and back, I have found them to be very expressive. You've given them a four tier colour band which gives more clarity to each one. I like the bus travelling on the orange top decker bridge. With places like that to paint, you should be able to show us a huge variety of places. My ex's maternal family used to take steel up to Newcastle and bring back coal on the Trent in Keadby as they were barge owners.

Thank you. You know the bridges well! I always know I am home when they come into view. Well spotted about the colour bands. That is accidental and I didn't realise it until you pionted it out. Must be an art unconsciousness I had at the time. Well no more coals from Newcadtke anymore. The staithes are there more as an historical reminder.

An eye catching painting that captures the three bridges very nicely. I like the composition and the great color palette. Best of luck in the contest.

This is a beautiful piece of art work the bold bright colors immediately draw the viewers eye in and the way you've drawn the 1st bridge you know right up close in the foreground also helps to give it depth and helps the eye to follow from front to back. Wonderful technique of working with color and the nice soft arched lines of the bridges makes it very pleasing to look at.

Cool,Brenda!
That's a striking painting,my friend!
I've never been to Newcastle of course but a friend and fellow artist who's modeled for several of my drawings was born there and I just recently finished an interesting book concerning a Demonic manifestation (and the resulting cases of 'mental illness' that resulted among those who witnessed it) back in the late nineteen seventies there so I feel a personal connection with the place and I'm really enjoying this fine looking presentation!
It's a really 'Good Show' of a picture!

Well you write a better story than me about Newcastle. Demonic manifestations in the 1970s has me intrigued. Its a great place in a beautiful area. I go back home may be 2 times each year and the bridges are akways my first welcome. Glad you enjoyed this and had a connection.

Nicely composed artwork of the bridges of Newcastle with the light reflecting on the water. Your lines and arcs of the bridge are shown well although would have preferred the furthest one not to be chopped off on top. A lovely watercolor to view.

Thank you your review and comments. I know the Tyne Bridge is tight I misjudged my paper sizing lol however on the real thing it is not so chopped off. Unfortunately my photographing was not so good and I had to crop a bit to get it straight to post.. you have me an excellent review and it is much appreciated

I really like the sky colors and the way you have applied them , very nice details in each of the bridges and they show the contrast between nature and man made, the sky and water in the sunset colors make a wonderful background for these bridges to stand against. Well created, arranged and presented , well chosen and applied colors and tones. Well presented!
