A nice entry into the competition presented here! I am no expert on birds/ducks but I reckon what you photographed out there is a male mallard!? Your fine image is well composed with good exposure and sharpness. Well done and good luck!

A very nice shot that is well composed. I like the diagonal placement of the mallard and the great colors. A sharp image with fine detail. Best of luck in the contest.

Looks like a mallard drake, well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones appear natural in this lighting. Well composed and presented!

A beautiful picture of this Mallard drake (male) swimming at the Red Grist Mills swirling water his iridescent green head gleaming in the sunlight & his yellow bill catching the eye along with his orange foot viewed through the water. Beautiful composition framing and lightning taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Nice placement of the mallard in the frame as it appears to be entering from the left and coming toward shore. Focus is sharp and lighting is well managed. Colors are both vivid and natural. Good luck in the contest.
