Thank you for entering my contest! This is a very appealing photo and an excellent example of the Virginia Whitetail Deer. Often they are moving so quickly that you cannot see their beautiful tail. The overall composition is excellent. You have shown us the whole body and even the face. The snow and grassy background are perfect additions. I hope he is still alive!

Thanks for the wonderful review! I took this in 2018, and photographed him all of 2019. Unfortunately,have not seen him since November,I am hoping he hooked up with a bachelor group after deer season was thru,but I don't know :(

A beautiful picture of this 8 point Stag looking back over it's shoulder snow on the ground with trees in the distance. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Your PoV emphasizes the handsome behind of the deer and especial its tail perfectly. This is a neat entry for the contest. The pose of the animal is interesting. The elegant bend of the head allows us a nice look of the face and the antlers. The photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. Details are refined and the colors are realistic. The background shows us the environment, but is unobtrusive. The photo is well composed and framed.

Nice contest entry in this nice capture. Would perhaps like to see the buck moved a bit off center to the right. Although the background is of like color and sharp, the subject still stands out clearly. Nice capture.

Beautiful entry for this contest, majestic white tailed buck from behind but he has turned his head to allow a good look at his face, I see good detail over every part of him and appreciate his face and the clear eye.
