Singing in sunset's afterglow

The robin is mostly silhouetted against the sunset afterglow, I can see the open beak, I like the way the breast feathers are lit. Well captured to show this robins location in the bare branches tree, well presented!

Pat,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this near silhouetted Robin with the sun's last rays lighting up his breast. I lit it up more but all colour was drained from the picture If you look closely I think you can see his tongue.

Lovely capture, Susan, showing this pretty little Robin singing his heart out in the branches of the tree as the evening sun lights up his red breast. I like the patterns made by the twigs and branches. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice clear image. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Thanks a million for your complementary review on this serenading Robin high in the Mulberry tree & for understanding the lighting.

very dark and doesn't appear very sharp: exactely what happened with my heron today;
a good framing of the silhouetted robin singing in the tree;

Fred,
Merci beaucoup mille fois for your complementary review on this Robin in the tree top. it was only his breast that was lit up in the fading light.
