This is a gorgeous capture of the male tufted duck! I love that golden eye and the purple iridescence on the head. This is beautifully focused,he stands out well against the water reflecting the green foliage. Just beautiful!

Well this is an interesting looking duck indeed! He reminds me of a penguin because of the colors.

So where is his tuft? Apparently this is not a very common duck since the photo in my field guide is very poor. A nice clear image with great colors.
