A fun image :) The characters are brought to life, I like the conversational nature.
As I am only a beginner 'artist', and watercolours so different style, MKFlood, I will be honest and say I truly don't know how to critique this as such, I can only say of it - "I really like it". And it brings a smile to my face. With no real reasons as to why or why not :)
Good luck in the competition.

Keep creating,
Ann, OpenroadFootprint

If I made ya smile then I did my job as a cartoonist. I don't work with any art medium. Mine is a office medium known as sharpie and Bic pens. I do invite you to look me up on YouTube. There you will find numerous illustrated music videos with wide range of music and stories. Now if you don't like going to YouTube then go to the FanmuSic side and look me up there. Thanks for the great review

Yay! What contest did you win? These guys seem very sophisticated drinking their tea together. I like the different variety of greens in the art work. Great job as always.

Awesome work in green. Again awesome work in your mastery of water base markers with very tuff subjects. The rendering in this piece brings to light the true elegance of form in the pleasant light green frog who seems to be at home in the company of his friends holding a white cup. Great clarity and presentation with excellent detail. The master is at work. Thanks

ROFLMAO!! oh bro do you not know what a sharpie and bic markers are? they are actually alcohol base..not watercolor pens. see if i put a water droplet on my work i have a couple of seconds to wipe it from the paper before it starts to bleed in to the paper only but it doesnt smear or bleed..again that would be on watercolor markers..not sharpie and bic markers. also my office medium has a much richer color than those cheap art watercolors. im not mad..just letting you know that your getting my office medium confused with those art mediums...big difference..wink..also i have a better scanner now compared to last time you were with us. when you made the comment i improved since last time..well i smiled and know that my scanner is doing its job now. i got tired over many sales, customers would tell me the drawing looks way better than what i displayed on line. i still have to tweek it a lil to make it look like your viewing it in person. im glad you have enjoyed this and thanks for the awesome review.

what's the image size, and resolution? you get great clarity closeup and far off. no bleeding or run off. nice clean rendering.

8 1/2x11" scanned at 300 dpi..sometimes have to tweek the contrast but not the color. the pens hold their weight in color richness. ..not the computer.

I can see why you won this one, lots of green, a friendly cup of tea among the plants, they look comfortable. I wonder what the conversation is right now, lovely to see

Congratulations again on your win in this Contest Dude!
The different shades of green are fab here, but what I like most is the frog dipping the dragonfly into his coffee!
Fine work ;)

Looks like they are having a grand old time out there in that good looking garden scene. Your use of lines and colours is very impressive. They look very relaxed in these troubled time. Nicely created!

Mark,
A very beautiful picture of this unusual trio of creatures of the Bayou enjoying a Tea Party dressed formally for the occasion the Green Lizard in Top Hat & Tails, the Green Frog in a Bowler hat while he dips a fly into his Tea cup while the River Rat tells his story dressed in a straw Boater. Created by your artist's eye for composition & your active imagination very skilful draftsmanship, very beautiful choice blending & application of your colours in bringing this scene to life.
