Pat,
A stunning & very beautiful picture of the setting sun glowing gold through the evening mist & then reflected on the glistening water's of the Inlet & along the steel rail lines leading the eyes to the sun. The scene framed on the right & below by the silhouetted rocky cliff & trees. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

How do you continue to get such beautiful pictures? It seems as thought you must be surrounded by them. This is a gorgeous sunset. I love the way the sun's light is making the track seem to glow.

Thank you so much Mary, this is pretty close to my house ,it?s just off the Seward Highway, I climbed down the bank off the highway and stood on the tracks. Technically we are not supposed to be on the tracks but I couldn?t resist the challenge of lining up the sun on the tracks.

I know how you feel. We have tracks that run across Main Street. Not so much anymore because they don't haul coal. There is a walking bridge that goes over the tracks. I have taken many photos there. It's a real rush when you look down from the bridge and the train runs below you. The scenery isn't nearly as beautiful as what you have there, though.
