The folds in the cloth, was what drew my attention, the way you used pointillism to create the shadows; of course other then who drew it.
A simple looking composition, with an effective use of the colors, and form, the flow created by the cloth, which had been wrapped around her being pulled away, showing body carrying a child.
Nicely rendered.

Well I like it, I always thought cartooning was art!, I mean I couldn't do it lol,,I paint but cant draw worth anything, I guess they do not understand and maybe they should have a contest for drawing and cartooning? I like the fact that this lady is expecting, with the pandemic going on it reminds me of my daughter right now pregnant and not sure about how its going to be at the hospital when my grandbaby comes.

i actually stop entering the line art contest..most common tool for a cartoonist but no matter what over the years it seems my entries is never good enough. so i pursued other contest since. wink. thanks for the great review.

Well whatever pens you used and whatever the rules you certainly did create a sacred image of a mother to be in a wonderful swirling robe! Like the contrasts between dark and light. Well done and good luck!

Very nice piece using the art medium which works so well for this peaceful image. The round shapes throughout are nicely distributed and create beautiful composition. The vivid colors are great with the black background.

No I was just pissing and moaning on how over the years they select art of the month..they always pick my worst drawing..I know I made Tom mad by my statement "does this person close their eyes and point? To make the choice.. something like this drawing would never get pick..that was my bitch. Oh well I said my piece and over it now. Thanks for the awesome review

This is visually exciting and mentally stimulating painting by sharpies. I don't think this genre should be called 'cartoons'. In my opinion this is serious art.The style, the figrure of the pregnant woman and the colours are mind-blowing. More power to you bro! Great job! Here goes my first six!

Once they start mass producing only those babies wanted in a test tube, mother-power will be gone, but that is not far, but a little way off yet. Are there other sites like this one?

Many sites out there but really none of them does all what FAR does..so really this is the best site and worth the money..wink.

Oh Denise when I work on videos it appears that's all I draw..if you could give me a few minutes your time..go to YouTube and look me up and then check out..."rocking with sharpie and Bic" or "rocking beauties with sharpie and Bic" or "100 years" or "it's not easy to be me" or "temporary home"..view any of these and you will totally understand why I call myself illustrator as well as a cartoonist..wink..thanks for the awesome review
