I have to give this little masterpiece 6 stars Mark my friend no matter what or how you made this with, its the concepts that makes you at this twice, the title also sums this up pregnant women are sacred!!
But away from all that what I really like is how the red flowing dress has movement and that certain SWISH and FLOW in the pleats at the rear, the black background also is perfect!

WOW! What a Fantastic Painting! LOL Just couldn't resist. I do have to say that the way you did this one with the smooth silkiness of the cape is great and does look like a painting at first glance. I think that is a Tribute to your skill Mark. Ya I can hear your discouragement and irritation. Hopefully this will get read by some of the committee members.

If we can only choose the best post for the photo of the month I guess it's better...
Well this is indeed considered a cartoon because you don't use watercolor or oil or pastel..still this is a very nice creation very unique position with the silky drape as if blown by a Giant electric fan or raise by an unknown force!

I like how you captured the woman in the picture. The red drape creates affect and stands out the most in the entire artwork. She looks like she might be expecting? The red drape could be a curtain too. You did great with the Sharpies. Very great job

been working with sharpie and bic pens since 1969. half century of teaching myself how to draw and work with these pens...maybe ill be an artist when i grow up..evil grin..lol..thanks for the good review.

Very well created woman who is a mom to be! I like this ! She is walking and her long red gown is opened to reveal her tummy, I love the way the gown fabric flows out behind her giving a sense of motion. This is well created against the black background, well presented!

last year while waiting a woman on mothers day, she told me that would wish me a happy mothers day but since im not a mother..i smiled and said.."oh no problem! i have been called a mother before but with different meaning!" wink..lol. thanks for the great review.
